About

Bundang Subway Line, South Korea
We’re teachers, wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, students, musicians, tech-nerds, artists and any other title you can think of. We come from everywhere and share a few things in common: We are all expats living in Bundang and English is our first language. For those thinking about moving to Bundang, it is a suburb of Seoul, South Korea. Its a new area with plenty of master-planned paths, parks and shopping. The air tends to be cleaner than Seoul too. This blog concentrates around the yellow (Bundang) subway stops: Seolleung, Dogok, Guryong, Gaepo-dong, Daemosan, Suseo, Kyungwon Univ., Taepyeong, Moran, Yatap, Imae, Seohyeon, Sunae, Jeongja, Migeum, Ori, Jukjeon and Bojeong.
If you’ve lived in Bundang a while, why not share some day-to-day essentials with your fellow expats? When I meet other expats new to living here, they’re generally still in “culture shock.” I’ve been here since August 2008 and still feel that way at times. The posts in this blog hope to make your transition a bit easier, from where to eat, how to order, getting a haircut, finding good English-speaking doctors, learning what banks are best for expats…you get the idea. It can be such a chore when language is a barrier.
